Sony Mdrnc22/Whi Noise Canceling Headphone (White) No matter where you go, enjoy peace and quiet with the MDR-NC22 Noise Canceling headphones. These compact and comfortable bud-style headphones can reduce noise by 75% (12dB at 200 Hz) and the 13.5mm driver units produce powerful sound. Perfect for tuning out noise at work, traveling, or even when you are trying to sleep in a loud environment. The noise canceling circuit actually senses outside noise with built-in microphones and sends an equal-but-opposite canceling signal to the headphones. Additional features include an in-flight adapter, compact battery box and it even comes with a carrying pouch.
Customer Review: Sony Noise Cancelling Earbuds
The Sony MDRNC22 earbuds are much more convenient to use than headphones, especially in the economy section on a plane. They cancel much of the background noise, but not enough to make it seem like all the noise was cancelled. The price was reasonable for the performance received and would recommend the produce to others.
Customer Review: For the money the best there is
I recently purchased these headphones to replace my regular old earbuds for my mp3 player. These are problably the best investment I’ve made in a while. I ride public transportation every day, and with these I eliminate 70% to 80% of the noise on the train. On planes they’re perfect. I was a little weary at first a lot of others have complained about the backgound white noise. I barely noticed it even between songs. When the music is off you can hear it, but then again why are you wearing earphones if you’re not listening to something. I also found that I can hear speaking pieces too, like television, and comedy without drop off or cranking the volume. The three sets of earplugs should cover you pretty well for size and it has a fairly decent battery life. The only downside that I have is that the battery case is a little heavy and can be awkward to clip on somewhere if you don’t have a shirt pocket or something similarly placed. Overall an excellent investment.

Customer Review: Great earpiece for a good workout
The earpiece looks heavy but is actually very light. The only flaw I can think of is that it is tricky putting it on. Otherwise, it’s fantastic.
Customer Review: Mom loves it
love the handsfree and cordfree life while chasing the kids around or walk or run with jogging stroller. so, keep the ipod and the phone in your backpack..have some tunes while you stroll with convenience of being able to answer your phone w/o necessarily having to fish it out of said bag carrying everyone’s elses stuff.. mom rant… only slight annoyance is that the rubber on the ends ‘grabs’ onto hair.. so, not so cool for hair down.. but mostly up when working out, sooo… overall great purchase.

Customer Review: Extremely pleased
I’ve bought several moderately priced headphones over the past few years looking for clear a sound that had deep, but not overpowering base. These are the best of the bunch by far. I was very tempted to buy a $100 plus headphone (though that would be a big spurge for my budget), but these Sonys sound so good I can’t imagine that the expensive phones would be significantly better. These phones are also very comfortable and I like the optional cord lengths.
Customer Review: Fits My Needs Perfectly
I wanted a set of earbuds to wear while riding my motorcycle. After doing a lot of research (which I do before buying pretty much anything), I found these little Sony earbuds were exactly what I needed. They fit nicely even while wearing a full-coverage helmet without causing any pain after a long ride. Unlike helmet speakers which do little to drown out wind noise, these earbuds allow hearing my favorite music I have loaded into my GPS unit, the commands from my GPS, while still allowing me to hear sirens or other potential danger signals while riding. They come with three sets of interchangable foam buds to fit just about anyone.

Customer Review: Great earphones for the Price
This is definitely a great earphone for its price. I just got it today and it works great. The downside to it is that the volume control doesn’t control the volume as well as it says. It does go from maximum volume to minimum volume, but it doesn’t slide from maximum volume to mute as a regular volume control would. But you could always silent it on the cd player, iPod or computer. Anyway, works great!
Customer Review: Excellent sound for open air ear buds. Much better than iPod Basic.
I have tried most all brands of ear buds, including both open type that sit in outer ear and types that are built to seal off the ear canal (usually, those provide the most base if you can take the feeling of them in your ear). For those that sit in the outside of the year, these are among the best sounding ear buds I have ever heard. I only tried them because I had bought a Panasonic MP3 Player for my brother, and was startled by how excellent the sound was with the enclosed ear buds for the money. I have tried the ear buds (extensively) from Apple, Creative, iriver, Koss, JVC (Gummy), etc. These are better than any of those because of vastly superior base response for the open ear type of bud. All such buds work the best if you get and use the little foam covers for them. This pair comes with those, however, the ones you can get in a pack of four at Radio Shack are better(the covers, that is). These ear buds are excellent for 20 bucks, and sound better than any I know of that you can buy separately like this, of the open, sit in the outer ear type.

Sony MDR-NC40 Noise Canceling Headphone (Black) Tired of taking your CD or MP3 player onto a plane only to hear the guy next to you better than the music itself? Do away with the problem for good with the MDR-NC40 noise-canceling headphones, which reduce ambient sound by a dramatic 10 dB so you can enjoy your favorite music distraction-free. The headphones work by synthesizing ambient sound with the noise-canceling circuit, thus reducing the commotion before it reaches your ears. In the meantime, the MDR-NC40’s neodymium magnets deliver a wide-ranging frequency response and clear, rich tones whether you’re listening to delicate arias or ear-busting metal. The headphones serve other purposes as well, such as blocking at sound while you’re trying to nap or honing in on hard-to-understand passages of a voice recording. Appropriately for a travel unit, the headphones fold compactly for easy storage in a carry-on or backpack. They also fit comfortably over the ears thanks to the soft ear pads, which listeners can wear for hours with no ill effects. The MDR-NC40 also includes a plug adapter for connecting to a stereo or, alternatively, an airline dual jack for enjoying in-flight music services.
What’s in the Box
MDR-NC40 headphones, carrying pouch, plug adapter, user’s manual.
Customer Review: Musician’s review
In noise cancel mode, these headphones sound great. They have a flat response and sound very natural. The highs are not too crispy and the lows are not too boomy. They block out external mid and high range noise effectively, though some lows might creep in and you cannot use noise cancel in the wind. They sound awful with the noise cancel off and are useless in that mode. I drive a diesel truck and I have no regrets at buying these headphones. They have soft pads and are lightweight and comfortable and I very much appreciate the sound quality.
I found Phillips earbuds to be way to crispy in the high end and returned a set of Koss QZPRO because they sounded terrible. If you are looking for good sound in a noisy environment, these Sony’s will do you good.
Customer Review: 4 Stars for the price
Sony Mdr-Nc40 Noise Canceling Headphone (Black)
As long time audiophile (30 years) I still find digital fiddling with music a little disconcerting, but these headphones do the job at the price point intended. Even though advertised “iPhone compatible” I was worried until the jack fit perfectly in the iPhone, a problem to date.

JVC HAF130A Portable Gummy Earbud Headphones ( Mint Blue ) JVC’s Gummy headphones let you enjoy your favorite music from your digital media player. The soft material covers the lightweight earbuds to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
Customer Review: Bad quality
I highly recommend *not* buying this. I bought these at Circuit City because they were the most inexpensive, and I got what I paid for. I stopped getting sound in one earphone after about a month. I take care of my items and I only use my earphones for when I’m on the computer. The fit was bad too. It fit very loosely so I always had to adjust it. I’d pay a few extra dollars to get something better and longer-lasting, unless you don’t mind buying a new pair every few months.
Customer Review: comforatble ear buds
comfortable earbuds that stay in place, yet do not hurt your ears. This is the second pair that I have boughten and am pleased with my purchase.

Customer Review: Durable and Comfortable
I’ve had these earphones for months!
They never broke, I’ve stretched it, abused it, and I even dropped it in soup.
I bought this from a gas station a long time ago, for $9′99, there was one right next to it for $2 ..My brother bought the cheap ones and they broke a week later..he probably bought around 10 of those cheap earphones ($2) by now, and they all broke..but as I said, I still have my Gumy earphones after all this time

Furman HDS-16 Headphone Audio Distribution Amp The HDS-16 Headphone/Audio Distribution Unit and HRM-16 Headphone/Audio Remote Mixer are the logical extension to Furman’s very popular headphone amp/audio distribution lineup. These models are designed to function equally well for both live (in-ear or stage monitors) and studio applications, allowing greater flexibility and ease for both the user and the engineer. NOTE: HRM-16 Remote is sold separately and is necessary for a complete system. The HDS-16/HRM-16 Headphone/Audio Distribution System cleanly routes 8 mono and 4 stereo signals to remote mixing locations via Centronics 50 pin cables. Up to eight HRM-16’s can be connected directly or daisy chained to a single HDS-16, allowing as many as sixteen users (two per each HRM-16) to customize eight different mixes. A unique talkback system allows each user to communicate with other users and the main mixing location. Additionally, a SOLO system allows the engineer to mute all but one stereo send from the mix location — very handy for reviewing recent takes or rough mixes. Additional HRM-16 features include local effects send/return, line out, overall bass/treble controls, talkback level, and a master level control. The double rack-space HDS-16 provides full patching functions on its front panel via 1/4″ and TT input jacks, and is intended to be installed at the mixing console location. The HDS-16 provides power and signal conditioning to drive the HRM-16 Remote Mixers. There is no power cord or wal…
