i bought these headphones about a year ago, and was hoping for something for an airplane ride. the first thing i noticed was that they hurt your ears if you wear them for about 2 hours. now, coming back from paris, the right noise canceling went out! it was so annoying. also, they do not get loud enough if noise canceling was not on.

I just got these headphones not even 20 minutes ago and after listening to only 2 songs on my ipod I ran to my computer to write a review. These headphones are quite possibly the best I’ve ever used. They have absolutely amazing mids and hi’s and the bass is subtle but in your face at the same time. I can’t even stress how good of a purchase these are. I’ve been dealing with 20-30$ head phones from best buy and the such and compared to these they’re like…almost childish. I would easily pay 70-80$ for these. probably the best purchase I’ve made in the past few years. I have a very wide taste in music, some days I’ll listen to heavy grind core and others I might want to listen to some acoustic folk rock and these head phones work perfect with both styles. It makes heavy music seem more intense and folk music seem more detailed and beautiful. You’re music will sound completey different than it ever had with other head phones. You will not regret buying these!

Overall I am very satisfied with these wireless headphones. I use them with my 5th generation iPod Video and they work great. Great for running and working out. Many reviews state that these headphones are uncomfortable, but I haven’t experienced any discomfort when wearing them while I work out. Easy to pair up by just holding down the buttons on the receiver and the headphones. Occasionally, the sound cuts out for a split second but thats expected, especially in a gym with a bunch of other frequencies. Great sound too!

Very easy to connect to iPod wirelessly, small form factor and stylish. The sound is better than average but I’m not an expert audiophile like some other reviewers. My only complaint is the inability to lay down flat or on a pillow with these headphones…the band on the rear amkes it impossible to lay down on a pillow and keep listening comfortably. I did like the included AC charger with (2) charging terminals that allow charging the headphones and trasnciever simultaneously (very logical engineering). Thanks Logitech…keep it up!

These are great little headphones for the price. They’re just like foam earplugs. There is a proper way to squish and insert earplugs, believe it or not. Most people just press a couple times without any thought and shove. You have to “roll” these between your fingertips really well, evenly, over and over. If you don’t, they will expand too fast and you’ll have trouble, especially when new. The more you use them, the better they get until the foam finally breaks down and you go to the replacement foam. I only use these when traveling and they knock down the noise down from planes, considerably. These are your best bet for the money. Ignore the reviewers that state that their double and triple priced headphone are better. DUH!!! What would you expect!!! If you buy a car for 10,000 don’t expect 20,000 or 30,000 dollar features and performance. Someone actually compared these to 80 dollar Shure headphones!!! Also, any self-proclaimed, pretentious, audiophile that buys these for 10 bucks and expects audiophile performance is just being ridiculous. Come back to Earth, please. I have used these on all forms of media and have yet to be disappointed. They will definitely show the flaws in any recordings because the sound is isolated and aimed directly at your eardrum. This is one reason I would NEVER give it to a little kid. If you like to save space on your Ipod and go with a low quality setting, your mistake will be painfully obvious. It will also be painfully obvious when you listen to the some of the cheap/low quality recordings and incompetent audio engineers of late.

Customer Review: Great Noise Cancelling Headphones for the money
Prior to this headphone I bought a Sennheiser PXC 150 on sale at Sears. What impressed me was the audio quality when listening to an MP3 player. I then compared that headphone with the Bose QC2 & QC3 at a Bose store. The PXC 150 sound, and noise cancelling was about the same as the QC2. The QC3 was much quieter when listening to the Bose airplane sound simulator. Since we were going to Hawaii I decided to get the PXC 250 for my wife, on account of their $25 rebate. Both the PXC 150 & PXC 250 were similar in audio and noise cancelling ability. Both performed well on the airplane. For the money I feel that the PXC 250 is an excellent noise cancelling headphones. The PXC’s uses AAA batteries, which last a long, long time. Whereas the QC3 has a rechargeable battery. If it dies, you’re out of luck. The PXC 250 folds easily into a nice supplied pouch, which has a zippered pocket to store extra batteries and phone adapters.

I watch Classical, Opera, and Jazz DVD’s. I’m glad I found this unit. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve used this little amp for about 4 years now with a set of Sennheiser HD280Pro’s. I use this with my computer at work to let me switch between headphones and my desktop speakers and it helps boost normal PC audio to new levels. I can get rich bass and as well as very high treble. These headphones are incredible. They sound amazing, they fit well, and they’re cheap. BUT, those stupid little ear clips are detachable. They always fall off in my bag, and then I can’t tell which ear is left and which is right. Plus, I’ve lost two sets of ear clips in one year. I give up.

Comfort: the most comfortable I have used, very light on the ears, I don’t have any problems with the design it is just what I have been looking for - non invasive, soft, no bulky cans on your head, the clips you can gently move around a bit for your best fit say if you need them on a bit tighter, you really don’t know they are there - perfect!.
Performance: I love music and they sound just fine to me, nice bass and treble, very clear, do not sound cheap or tinny and a much nicer sound overall than the white phones that came with my ipod.
General: also has a handy volume control on the wire. nice solid 90 degree plug. Hard to fault. A high quality audiophile version with similar design and lightness but say around $150 - that would be tempting too!!

Customer Review: Great Headphones
The Sony MDR-IF240RK infared cordless headphones are a great deal. They work perfectly and sound great. I have two other sets of corded headphones but these sound better then both of them. There only drawback is since the infared they have to be in line of sight with the sending unit. I chose these over RF units because I live in an aptment building and the RF unit get a lot of interfernce from other devise in ajoining apartments.
